ClonaLanding — Privacy Policy

1. Overview

ClonaLanding is a Chrome extension that clones, translates and adapts landing pages. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

2. Data We Collect

ClonaLanding collects only the minimum data necessary to operate:

• License key: stored locally in chrome.storage.local on your device. Used to verify your subscription. Never shared with third parties.
• DeepL API key: stored locally in chrome.storage.local. Sent directly to DeepL's API (api-free.deepl.com) for translation. We never store or transmit your DeepL key to our servers.
• Page HTML: the HTML of the page you choose to process is read locally in your browser and sent to DeepL for translation. We do not store this content on our servers.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

• We do not collect browsing history.
• We do not track which websites you visit.
• We do not sell or share your data with advertisers.
• We do not use analytics or tracking pixels.

4. Third-Party Services

When you use ClonaLanding, text from the page you process is sent to DeepL for translation using your own API key. Please review DeepL's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

License key validation is performed via Supabase. Only the license key itself (no personal data) is sent for validation.

5. Local Storage

ClonaLanding uses chrome.storage.local to store your license key and DeepL API key. This data stays on your device and is not synced to the cloud.
